THE HOTEL With endless views over the gorgeous green Hyde Park, the rooms at the Royal Lancaster London are plush and dreamy. Oh and did I mention the hotel is about a one min walk from Lancaster Gate tube station? It perfectly situated for those who want to go for a quick morning jog in the beautiful Hyde Park before going off to explore London.
THE BREAKFAST Room service breakfast at the Royal Lancaster London boasts a large selection of pastries, fruits, daily smoothies and a long list of different savoury breakfasts. Being a quintessentially British hotel, the recommended option is a proper Full English Breakfast. We opted for a lighter version of our mains in the form of Avocado on Sourdough and Eggs Florentine. The yolks were perfectly soft boiled and melty and the hollandaise divine. We also ordered a selection of fruits, and I’m not sure if it’s just me but it seems like the Royal Lancaster has a great fruit picker as everything we tasted was sweet and fresh. Order your breakfast while you run a bath and once you’re warm and robed up the breakfast shall appear. Sip on a tea and flick through a magazine while you slowly devour your perfectly boiled eggs florentine, this all in front of the gorgeous misty view of London. An absolute Breakfast dream!
