Lesser Known Instagram Worthy Restaurants in London

So we all know the restaurants that top most of these lists… and so I decided to come up with one filled with lesser known but equally gorgeous and delicious restaurants. Happy eating and enjoy! If you have any more, let me know in the comments below!

Pomona’s

Embrace that cali-lifestyle at Notting Hill’s Pomona’s! Think bright interiors, plants hanging rom the ceilings and lovely wooden tables. The food here boasts extremely fresh produce that are wood fired and charcoaled to perfection. This combined with their yummy smoothie’s equals to the best place for a girly day out. Did I mention they also do smashingly delicious cocktails?

 No 197 Chiswick Fire Station

Think LA style vibes with white walls, succulents and neon lights. No 197 Chiswick Fire Station is a pinterest interior dream. The converted Fire station has space to spare to 100% consider this place for bigger gatherings, especially on their beautiful white washed outdoor space for some summer cocktails. The food at No 197 is also to die for, with gorgeous crowd pleasing dishes such as steamed mussles mariniere, halloumi burger and coconut poached chicken salad. This is definitely my new favourite hot spot for summertime lunches. For you freelance workers out there, the restaurant is also a great place to bring your laptop for a nice work day, very good coffee.

Omar’s Place

Victoria’s hottest newcomer Omar’s Place is not just a feast for for the taste buds but for the eyes as well. The interiors ooze cool with copper textures, coral velvet and teal sofas and glowy lights. The food is a mix of hot and cold tapas from a variety of places including Morocco, Turkey, North Africa and more. An extremely chic place for a chilled glass of wine and really great sharing small plates.

Duddell’s

Hong Kong based Duddell’s is London’s newest dimsum dream. As a Hong Kong girl, I can rightfully say that the dim sum is top notch and serves proper cantonese dishes. The building used to house an old bank and features gorgeous high ceilings with sparkling yet modern chandeliers against turquoise green tiles and checked floors. Absolutely droolworthy instagram interiors mixed with beautiful cutlery and plates, the insta-foodie dream. The perfect place for a beautiful lunch catch up!

Chicama

This pretty Peruvian restaurant has been on the King’s road for a while now and is one of my favourite places to go for a girly lunch or date night. Not only because the décor is easy on the eyes, but also because the food is drop dead gorgeous. Chicama serves beautifully prepared Peruvian cuisine family style, so think huge sharing plates of perfectly chargrilled seafood, fresh ceviche and scrumptious veggies. When the food comes out, get your cameras ready as the plating is absolutely stunning – every single dish look like they have come straight out of a cookbook. Be sure to sign up to their mailing list as every few weeks they host a small group supper club featuring a famous chef in and around London in their private room, which is an amazing way to meet new foodie friends and try out delicious food from a well known chef.

Black Roe

My ultimate spot for a date night, Black Roe has extremely dreamy food. Especially for all the Poke and seafood lovers out there, this place is the ultimate dream. It is certainly one of my favourite Poke places in London as they do it so well. The restaurant has just installed beautiful flowers all over the ceiling, which makes for very beautiful photos as well as scrumptious food. The highlight on their current menu is the South Pacific Tasting Menu which comes with a signature Aloha cocktail and seven courses of delicious seafood goodness! Best. Thing. Ever.

Megan’s

Considered by some one of the most romantic little restaurants in London, Megan’s is a household name in Chelsea. This beautiful restaurant has a gorgeous garden terrace complete with blue and white picnic check tables, glowing fairy lights and little white flowers. Talk about Instagram worthy interior goals! The food is fresh and tasty with a mix of sharing small plates, kebabs and burgers. They have offers every day of the week so be sure to check if you fancy a smashing two course meal special on Tuesdays or bring in your own bubbles for BYOB Mondays.
