One of my favourite pieces to invest in year after year is a lush, creamy, tailored coat to keep me warm all throughout the winter months. Being the first piece people see in your winter outfit, a good coat is quite the investment as it can be styled and incorporated in your style in so many ways. This year’s colour of preference seems to be a gorgeous autumnal brown, a colour which reminds me of dark roasted coffee grains and that rich warm toned powdery chocolate dust that covers chocolate truffles. My favourite way to style is with something skimpy and silky underneath or the coat completely on its own, topped with a thick golden belt and paired with knee high boots. Comfy, sexy and gorgeous. This rich brown tone is also so lovely when paired with anything beige or black and goes perfectly with warm toned sweaters in shades of coffee, cream and grey.
